Stage-by-stage plan

1

Aug – Sep

After harvest & pruning

Revive the tree, push new leaves after pruning and rebuild the soil.

Recommended

Rate & method: 15-15-15 mixed 1:1 with 30-0-0, 1–2 kg/tree, plus organic fertilizer, spread under the canopy at the first leaf flush.

Or choose

The official advice mixes 46-0-0 with 15-15-15; our 30-0-0 works too — use slightly more than 1:1.

3

Jan – Mar

Flowering & fruit set

Reduce fruit shedding in hot, dry weather; firm stalks and clean skin.

Recommended

Rate & method: 15-15-15 at 1–2 kg/tree at fruit set, plus Orthosilicic Acid+ Gold granules to help the tree cope with heat and drought.

Or choose

Keep watering steady during fruit set — don’t let the soil dry out hard.

Add every time you fertilize

Orthosilicic Acid+ Gold applied with your NPK to condition the soil, release locked-up nutrients and help trees handle heat and drought.

Choose the approach that fits your farm

Easy start — keep your formulas

Keep your usual formulas and add Orthosilicic Acid+ Gold each time you fertilize.

Recommended

Full programme

Follow the five stages above, matching the formula to what the tree needs at each point.

Organic focus for tired soil

After harvest, rebuild the soil with Mor Kaset Plus 6-6-6 or OM 20% organic fertilizer, then add NPK by stage.

Good to know

  • Trees aged 1–3 years: 15-15-15 with 30-0-0, 100–200 g/tree, three times a year.
  • Test soil and leaves first so you apply what the tree actually lacks.
  • Apply on moist soil, spread across the canopy area or in a shallow trench around it.

Rates on this page are general guidance for bearing trees. Adjust for tree age, canopy size, crop load and soil test results. Months are approximate and vary by region.
