Plants show visible symptoms when they lack nutrients. Spotting them early lets you correct the problem before yield is lost.
Primary nutrients
- Nitrogen (N): older lower leaves turn pale yellow; stunted growth
- Phosphorus (P): dark green to purplish leaves, poor roots, late flowering
- Potassium (K): scorched edges on older leaves; small, less sweet fruit
Secondary and micronutrients
- Calcium: deformed young shoots, cracked fruit
- Magnesium: yellowing between veins on older leaves
- Boron: dying tips, flower drop, misshapen fruit
If you are not sure, send a soil sample to our lab so fertilizer can be targeted precisely.
